Good afternoon!
We are starting a new procedure in our classroom dealing with planners. Every morning when students come into class, they will be responsible to write down all assignments for the day in their planner. these assignments will be written on the board for students to copy down. At the end of the day, students may put an x through any assignments that they have finished, so that they (and you) will know which assignments they have finished and which ones they need to complete for homework that night.
Students who are absent will copy down the assignments from a friend from the day(s) that they were gone. please remember to check your child's planner each night to see if they have homework. hopefully this new procedure will help students to remember which assignments they need to complete for the next day.
also, due to the fact that students are writing each assignment in their planner, i will no longer be posting homework assignments on the blog. you may look at your child's planner to see what the homework assignment is. if you have a question about a homework assignment, please feel free to call or email. thanks and have a wonderful evening! remember... it's almost Friday! :) ms. s
