Hey parents! :) Well, mid-term is almost upon us! its crazy to think we've been in school that long already! i just wanted to tell you a few quick things about grading:
Your student's grades will usually be updated by each Monday night (from the previous week's assignments). Math will usually be updated by each Thursday night.
You can check parent portal to see what assignments your child has been missing. (contact me or the school office to find out more about how to be able to log into parent portal to see your child's grades and missing assignments)
Next week i will be sending home missing assignment reports in friday folders. these missing assignment reports are to keep you updated on how many assignments your child is missing each week. remember that the KMS student handbook policy states that no late work will be accepted (with an exception for absences- see handbook policy). and, just a reminder that 5 or more missing assignments becomes a discipline issue.
my goal is to not have any students with missing assignments :) i would love that! so, the missing assignment reports, and the updated grades on parent portal are to help keep you "in the loop" and informed about your child's progress in my classroom :) thanks for helping your student to be responsible with their work!
